For the Rehabilitation Center of this major hospital we designed a courtyard to aid in patient rehabilitation after debilitating injuries. The courtyard has a naturalized waterfall and pond with plantings a variety of textured walks, steps, ramps, and elevated planting areas for patient’s practice of new skills are included. A putting green, basketball court, and outdoor cooking facilities and a gathering place with tables and chairs are all part of the design.
